OCTOBER IS THE BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Time to educate everyone about breast cancer and wearing a pink ribbon for visibility and support

Wear the Pink Ribbon to support people living with breast and other types of cancer

The Pink Ribbon campaign aims to raise awareness about breast and gynaecological cancers, as well as raise funds for prevention programs, support services and vital cancer research.

Nowadays, almost everybody knows someone who has gotten a cancer diagnose, among the most common being Breast Cancer. From the moment a person receives that kind of news, close friends and family become an immensely support net for the person who is diagnosed with cancer.

The most commons types of cancer are (in order of incidence): Breast cancer, Lung Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Colorectal Cancer and Melanoma.

From a certain age, it is important to check for signs of cancer and go through routinary tests. It is recommended to start when becoming 50 years old, but actually it has become a good practice to think about it from the age of 40.

Our dear Mr. Fluffy, who is 54 years young, has a yearly prostate check, as this is the most common type in men. For women, the mammogram is the best option to find any chance of Breast Cancer and start treatment in while the cancer is in the early stages. Luckily, these preventive check-ups are promoted in not only European countries but also all over the world.

At the Mr. Chill & Mr. Fluffy company, we know that T-4 Cells and T-8 Cells are crucial to have a strong immune system. Mr. Fluffy himself has been diagnosed with HIV. You can read all about these cells at the product page of The T-Cells T-shirt and you can also read more about the philosophy and story of our T-Cells T-shirt in this blog.

The message printed on the T-Cells T-shirt reads something really beautiful: “I would transfer you all of my T-cells", which can be translated as “I would give you all of my T-Cells to help you strengthen your immune system to be protected and make you strong to combat any disease that comes on your path. Call it Cancer, HIV, the common flu, and all other diseases drawing attention these days, most recently COVID-19.

A story from one of our dearest sisters

Our dear friend Zoë was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019. She kept an online journal to stay in touch with family, friends and colleagues via the website Caringbridge.org An exceptional platform to share her journey through her thoughts and her feelings and detail everything she went through. This allowed her to write posts and inform all the people following her closely in one single post. Instead of getting exhausted by telling us all one by one. As naturally, there is no time or energy for doing that when you are going through.

She is an example for so many people. A wonderful inspiration. Thanks for sharing your story with everybody. It makes you a cancer survivor and a wonderful warrior. The world is more beautiful with you in it. You know both of us Mr. Chill, Godfather of your beautiful Matea and Mr. Fluffy, would have transferred you all of our T-Cells to give you the strength to survive this breast cancer. We are so inspired from your positivity, your own strength and all the survivor qualities you acquired and, of course, thankful to all of the treatments that made you cancer free today. We love you sis!

If you're going through the same. Reach out, share your story so you don't feel alone and above all: Stay strong. You're a fighter!

Sending chill vibes, fluffy hugs and all the strength in the world.

We love you,

👊🏼⭐️💙
